SUMMARY:Audition for CTK Organist/Choir Director
DESCRIPTION:This is not a Teams Meeting.\nThis is an in-person audition with our Organist/Choir Director candidate\, Gabrielle Maes.\nWe have 2 altos\, 4 sopranos\, a bass and a tenor who responded that they can come.\nGabrielle will be coming from services at Huguenot Baptist Church where she is currently the interim Music Director.\nRuth got all the music in place before she went on her trip\, and Gabrielle has picked it up and is getting prepared. The audition will be in two parts\, a choir rehearsal and a demonstration of organ skills. Timing will go as follows:\n1:15-1:30 PM: Gather back in the choir room after having eaten lunch. Gabrielle will teach us one piece of music from our library that we have never sung before.  We will also leave time for Gabrielle to answer job related questions from the choir.\n2:15 PM: Break.  (Any of our choir members who cannot stay may leave at this point.)\n2:30 PM: Gabrielle will play typical Lutheran hymns we have selected on the organ\, and also one piece of her own choosing.\nWe are scheduling two hours for the audition\, so you can expect to be free about 3:15 PM.\nBy way of background\, Gabrielle has over 30 yers of experience as a musician specializing in vocal performance.  She has taught\, directed\, and performed in various capacities. She has worked in churches worldwide\, adapting to diverse situations.\nThank you for your participation in our selection process for this important position.
